Ubuntu USB Flash Drive
I corrupted my 2.1TB USB Drive...
It shows up on Ubuntu every time, but does not mount.
The gparted
program gives me an option for default user mode but wont format it.
My mac does not see it at all.
I know its a stupid question, but I like it and don't want to throw it away.
I spent the last few days looking for texts on how to do low level disk operations in Mac OS El Capitan and Ubuntu..
I obtain error as
- no read permission
- no media on volume
I found some low level stuff of its scsi address but I may be mistaken.
What should I do?

Hi, welcome on SuperUser... It is not so much clear what are you asking for, please edit you post. Do you want to rescue the data or the hardware? The paths that people can offer you can be very different. BTW, hardware is not eternal and before or after it is destined to leave us. Data instead can be backed up and if you are lucky also rescued. Add some references and describe what you have already done and where that errors arose.
