Wireless Mouse keeps connected and disconnecting after Windows 10 update [on hold]

First of All I tried this solution and it didn't work:

Why is my USB mouse disconnecting and reconnecting randomly and often?

I already tried to reset my computer to no avail. I have looked all over the internet for a solution and NOTHING! It's extremely frustrating. Anyone have any other ideas? I can't revert to system restore because I don't have a restore point.

  • I assume You have wireless mouse which is connected to PC via USB receiver. Try to open Device Manager, in device list select Your mouse device. Right click -> open properties -> Power options tab -> deselect "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power". Now try to do it for mouse receiver device too. Next open Your Control Panel -> Power Options -> Select edit power plan -> go to advanced settings -> USB settings -> USB selective suspend -> set both plugged in and on battery to disabled -> click OK.
